Give Back to Caesar

In my waking hour, as I peer into the silent cavities of my heart, I find desires that are not of my choosing. They are written on the walls of my heart. They echo through the chambers to me as my calling. Connected to something far greater than just personal desire. Something to do with destiny, the way, the high way.

If I follow this path and look deeper, I become a silent witness to the unfolding and aligning of the internal 'designs' and the world I see around me. My mind is blown. It cannot comprehend such 'magic'. A mystery. My life becomes full of wonder. I am humbled by this force/intelligence/love that guides my life. I put my hands together in gratitude for the gifts that are bestowed upon me. What great fortune. So grateful I am of this fortune that I have discovered.

Maybe this is the richness that everyone so desperately seeks nowadays but rather than following the golden path become corrupted by the false idea that money is the key to some kind of treasure in life. Perhaps it acts more like a lock that keeps us behind bars of captivity. Jesus said 'Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's'. He's saying follow your heart, because God speaks through the heart.

I'd like to say that my time with Caesar is done, but I may still have to pay him one more visit and take from him what he owes to God.
